The Mitigation Laborer assists in the response, restoration, and cleanup of properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other environmental damage. This role supports crew leaders and technicians in performing demolition, setting equipment, and ensuring job sites are clean, safe, and well-organized.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with water extraction, drying equipment setup
• Perform controlled demolition such as removal of damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.)
• Support mold remediation processes including containment setup, HEPA vacuuming, and application of antimicrobial treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of job sites including debris removal and hazard mitigation
• Load, unload, and organize equipment, tools, and materials
• Follow all company safety procedures and comply with IICRC and OSHA standards
• Communicate professionally with team members
