About the Role

We are hiring Mason Tenders to support commercial masons on a school construction project in Shenandoah, Ohio. Candidates must be hardworking, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. This role is essential to keeping the masonry crew efficient, organized, and productive.

Key Responsibilities

Assist masons with daily tasks, including staging materials and moving supplies
Mix, carry, and distribute mortar, grout, and other materials
Set up, adjust, and maintain scaffolding and work platforms
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
Operate basic hand tools and follow safety protocols
Support masons by ensuring materials are available and workstations are prepared
Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Previous construction or masonry support experience preferred
Ability to lift 50–80 lbs throughout the workday
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow directions and work efficiently with a team
Reliable transportation to the job site

Background Check Requirement

All applicants will be required to successfully pass BCI and FBI background checks prior to placement on the project.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience on commercial or public-school construction projects
OSHA 10 certification
Familiarity with basic masonry tools and materials

Compensation

Competitive hourly wages based on experience. Overtime may be available depending on project needs.
