General Labor

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks on construction and other job sites. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor duties such as loading/unloading materials, moving debris, and assisting skilled workers.
• Set up and take down equipment, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
• Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring they are free from hazards and debris.
• Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including digging, trenching, and carrying materials.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
• Transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in a general laborer role is a plus but not required.
