Job Description:

Join our team as a Concrete Worker responsible for supporting the placement, finishing, and repair of concrete surfaces on commercial and residential job sites in the Gainesville area. You’ll work under the direction of a foreman, operate hand and power tools, assist with form setup, concrete pouring, finishing, curing, and cleanup. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work in outdoor environments, and committed to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up concrete forms and reinforcement.
• Mix, pour, spread, and smooth concrete with hand tools and machines.
• Finish concrete surfaces and apply curing methods as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow site safety protocols.
• Assist crew members and follow instructions effectively.
• Report any issues or delays and follow supervisor guidance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Prior construction or concrete-work experience is preferred but not required for entry-level.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in concrete work.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to showing up each day.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and follow safety procedures.
• OSHA 10 certification or similar preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Range:

• $18-24/hr
