About the Role

We are seeking experienced Commercial Masons to join our team for a school construction project in Shenandoah, Ohio. Ideal candidates will have strong commercial masonry experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lay block, brick, and stone according to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
Mix mortar and prepare materials for daily work
Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and structural components
Operate hand tools and masonry equipment safely and correctly
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines
Collaborate with site supervisors, laborers, and other trades
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

2+ years of commercial masonry experience (school or institutional projects preferred)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation to the job site
Strong understanding of job-site safety practices
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction

Background Check Requirement

All applicants will be required to successfully pass BCI and FBI background checks prior to placement on the project.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on public or educational facility projects
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings independently

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Overtime opportunities may be available.
