HVAC and Electrical Punch list guy

Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile, high-level laborer to join our team to tackle a variety of tasks at our clients’ homes. Think of it as a "Swiss pocket knife" – a skilled multi-tasker capable of performing a range of services to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable diagnosing and solving problems and has the ability to determine when an issue requires a specialist. We want someone who is like the “Zamboni” of construction, always keeping things smooth and moving forward.

Responsibilities:

• Complete general carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve general appliance, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Handle a wide variety of punchlist tasks, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Diagnose and assess issues, knowing when to call in specialists or other trades if necessary.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing clients as part of our perpetual service agreement.

Required Skills:

• Solid experience in carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose various issues (appliance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
• Ability to multitask and handle various job functions with a high level of skill.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and work with them on solutions.
• Critical thinking ability to identify, diagnose, and address problems efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general labor and multi-skilled roles.
• No certifications required, though experience in relevant trades and certifications will be considered a plus.
